1st Place Winner in the Pre '67 Category at the 2008 Dubs Along the Rockies Show
Oh boy, this is what you have all been waiting for…The ultimate VW, the last year of the split window bus and the first year of the 12 volt electrical system. How many Passenger vans have you seen? Panels? Single cabs? Double cabs? Even 21 windows? But very few true Pop-top Westfalias. They’re getting harder and harder to find, let alone buy. Well here’s your chance. If you would like to invest in precious metals and look good doing it, the time is now!!! You will not find a nicer, cleaner, better running Westy anywhere.
This is it !!! The Crème da La crème!!! The cats meow!!! The Jazz Master!!! The Royal Flush!!! This is about as close as you’ll ever come to a brand new 41 year old Westfalia. Everybody longs for that barn find, unrestored VW. But what about the fuel lines, cables, or mainseals? I’m here to tell you from personal experience that it ain’t all that pretty. This 1967 Westy has been completely refurbished from front to back and top to bottom. All new cables, new brakes, all new seals, rebuilt engine and transaxle, even all new light bulbs.
It doesn’t get much better than this. Here’s a long list of highlights, heck this whole darn bus is a highlight…

I purchased this bus from a friend of mine that I’ve known for almost 20 years. He hired a local VW restoration shop to do the paint and bodywork and then he was going to assemble it. His circumstances changed, as in welcoming a child into the world, and he needed to sell his beloved bus unfinished. That’s where I came in…If you look at the 16th picture you can see the bus when I adopted it. The paint and bodywork had all been completed’ I just had to finish it; “easy“. Evidently, there was some slight damage to the passenger side front corner which was repaired beautifully, the right front floor panel was replaced at that time, but the driver side is original. The rear battery tray was replaced as well, along with both rockers. These are common areas on any bus and the job was done exceptionally well. The body is rust free and as straight as an arrow as you can see in the pictures.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, which means I’ve got 24 thousand words worth of pictures and it’s still doesn’t describe this van. It’s poetry in motion, found art, a rolling art sculpture and best of all usable. Drive it to the beach, the park, the Sunset Strip, and you’ll be the talk of the town, you’ll be riding with the king, you’ll be styling. Or you can just park it, sit in it, have a picnic, and then take a nap after you tire from sitting back and admiring it. Oh, I know I’m full of clichés and just alittle redundant, maybe even over the top. Like new parents marveling over there newborn, ya that’s me. Two years working off and on, with the help of family and friends. It’s finally done, ready to find a new caring home, and it’s time to let it go. I’m offering Free Shipping with The Buy It Now price to any major city in the continental USA. So bid with confidence, if you have any questions call me anytime @ 720-270-5637.
