Just in time for spring...This is just a fantastic all around Westfalia. With
its beautiful paint and clean original interior it just begs to hit the road.
These vans were so ahead of their time. With the built in kitchen and
comfortable sleeping for four, all combined into one economical
package is just too good to be true. I am always amazed at the amount of
storage space that is provided in such a compact area. The cabinets and
upholstery are all original and in excellent condition. The paint looks like
butter baby....
This Vanagon is a late 1983 model so it is the first year of the desirable
water cooled 1.9 liter motor, which just had a major tune up and runs
great. I was told that it was rebuilt recently so it doesn't burn or leak any
oil, or coolant . The trans axle shifts smooth and doesn't grind or pop out
of any gears. The front and rear brakes are in excellent condition. It
stops straight and smooth. All the electrical works as it should. For it's
age everything feels tight, you don't feel like you're driving a 27 year old
vehicle. It's hard to find the right words to describe this incredible Westy.
