Sweet Vanagon with Tiico Conversion. This is an amazing van with great power and dependability. This van looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor, with its recent paint job and original interior, it looks fantastic. This is a rust free van with a clean carfax. To top off this wonderful Vanagon it has been converted to a 2.0 litre Jetta engine from Tiico which only has 37,000 miles on the new engine. This conversion gives the van an incredible feel as you're able to move through traffic with utmost confidence.
Here's a list of its highlights:
The 4 speed manual transmissions shifts smooth and doesn't whine or
grind at all.
The brakes were just serviced and stop straight with no pulling and a
solid petal.
The Engine was just serviced, has a new timing belt and water pump,
along with fresh oil and a tune-up. You can plan to drive this van just
about anywhere.
The tires are 215/70R-14 Conti Radials with less than 11,000 miles on them
and Road Hazard-Free Replacement.
The A/C blows ice cold, but the fan clutch is a little noisy when the A/C is
on.
The electrical system works perfectly with the lights, wipers, horn, etc..
functioning as they should. It even has a great face-off Kenwood CD player
with up-graded speakers.
The interior is in great condition and has been well taken care of. Check-
out how big the bed is in back, great for camping or going to the drive-in.
The body is very straight and looks fantastic. The only reason that it was
repainted was some sun fading and a few minor door dings, nothing major!
The van also has the original owners manual and service records.
I've tried to describe this wonderful Vanagon as well as I can through my description and pictures. I especially tried to include extra shots of the Engine which looks like new. You can also go to Tiico.com and check out thier website for more information on the conversions. It's hard to find these versitle vans in such great original condition. If you have any questions feel free to ask and if your local and serious feel free to come by for a viewing. Here's some additional information from Tiico comparing the old and the new:
*fuel economy is average and is estimated and will vary depending on road conditions, driving style, etc.
