It doesn't get much better than this...
Time to get this party started, grab the boards, load up the crew, and
head for the hills. Lets go boarding or skiing, this Syncro Vanagon is
ready for anything. What an amazing vehicle. Volkswagen was so ahead
of it's time when they produced these Syncro Vanagons. To have a four
wheel drive vehicle that will haul seven people comfortably, get good
gas mileage, and you that could sleep in was unheard of back then. Heck,
I'm not sure if there's anything like it today.
This is a 1987 Syncro with a stack of service records going back to almost
new. It has like new Mud and Snow tires mounted on factory Vanagon
Alloys wheels. The engine has just been serviced and runs great. The
transmission shifts smooth and doesn't pop or grind in any gears. The
four wheel drive system works perfectly, including the factory diff lock.
All the electrical works great and it has a new battery. The stereo and
speakers have been up-dated with a AM/FM cassette player with a
auxiliary input which allows you to plug your I-pod for a great sound
experience.
The interior is all original and looks like new. The rear bench seat folds
into a bed easily and I will include the great homemade set of curtains for
privacy, as well as the sleeping bags, chairs, and ice chest. I purchased
this Vanagon looking just the way it does. It had been sitting in the
garage for several years and just needed minor clean-up and a good
tune-up to get back on the road.The paint looks fantastic especially with
the cool body stripe and Syncro decals. The odometer stopped working
and was replaced with a new one just before it was parked. As a licensed
dealer I have sell the van as miles exempt per Colorado State law. As you
can see in the pictures the previous owner was very anal about
appearance as well as mechanical up-keep with a stack of records to
prove it, including the original Buyers Order from when it was purchased
new.
You just don't find Vanagons this clean and original as this one. If you're
looking for a very unique vehicle that you can get in a start enjoying right
